We are actively seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner for onsite healthcare services at an active construction site in DeSoto, KS.
These services will be provided to onsite workers.
The clinic will not be open to the public and involves collaboration with other staff members and providers.
The individual will be responsible for the following tasks:
Participate in daily operations at the on-site clinic Provide superior customer service to patients Build and maintain internal team relationships Support for patient health and wellness efforts Documentation of care using state-of-the-art EMR and other tools Physical Assessment Testing (PATs) Case Management Medical charting OSHA record-keeping Examine patients and their medical records.
Order and study diagnostic tests (blood tests, X-rays etc.
) Invoicing and ordering medical supplies Diagnose health conditions and illnesses Propose treatments for chronic and infectious diseases Prescribe medications Maintain accurate records and schedules Inform patients about their health conditions and prescribed medications Oversee patients' overall health Promote good health practices Advance professional knowledge and conduct research Required
Qualifications:
5
years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner Master's Degree Excellent knowledge of nursing care methods and procedures Phlebotomy Computer, office, and phone skills Familiarity with EMR software Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to lift 50 lbs.
Valid State NP license Current CPR/BLS certification Positive and outgoing personality Experience in primary care or acute/urgent care is preferred Comfortable treating all age groups Organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently Must be able to maintain a flexible work schedule Preferred
